A marvelous tech innovation launched by Samsung, the Galaxy S8 and S8 plus. Faster and reliable with high quality display and features. This is a big screen but its not a big phone. The Samsung galaxy S8 comes in two different sizes, 5.2' inches and S8 plus with a 6.2' inches screen. Samsung is calling it now the (infinity display) because they got rid of the bezels on the top and bottom of the phone. The sides are covered as they were in the samsung galaxy s7 edge this is now the default way these phones comes now. The phone has a feature of displaying HDR (High Dynamic Range) colors. Interesting part about these phones is they got the same resolution of 2960x1400 and a battery of 3000 mah for the samsung s8 and 3500 mah in s8 plus and both phones have some of the same features as the previous galaxy phones.
Samsung makes great screens and more of the quality of this phones hardware is that the looks and feels of this smartphone feels really great. The glass just melts down from both sides and they don't have a camera bump on the back side. They have made some changes as they got rid of the bezels in the top and the bottom so you'll notice there is no home button in the front and neither there is a button on the back. Home button is now sort of a virtual button which is similar to the force touch in the IPhone 7 but you can get on the home screen by push pressing anywhere on the screen.
There are three different ways to unlock the phone. Usual methods of password and pattern and then comes the fingerprint sensor which is located right next to the camera. Iris scanning is also an unlock option in this smart phone which we saw in the S7 RI P which is very secure and then there is now face scanning which is quite secure as the Iris scanning. These unlock features of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are super fast that if you blink you will miss it. When they say its a GALAXY they very much try to prove each and every word they say about there smartphones.
Samsung s8 weight's only 155 g (5.47 oz) with Gorilla Glass 5 and aluminium frame. Super AMOLED captive touchscreen and 16M colors. Octa core CPU with (64 GB) internal memory and 4 GB ram, card slot that supports upto 256 GB. Primary camera of Samsung galaxy s8 and s8 plus is 12 megapixels. Samsung said that the image processing has got better in these smartphones. Secondary camera is been updated to 8 megapixels and a feature of auto focusing.
