Beth Howland Vera Passed Away At 74
Beth Howland was born in Boston on May 28th 1941. At the age of 16 she was given a role on Broadway alongside Dick Van Dyke in "Bye bye birdie". She was brought on stage in the 1970 production of "Company" for a small part on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show".
Before she was casted in "Alice" as Vera Louise Gorman which was a comedy set in Arizona greasy spoon dinner based on 1974 Martin Scorsese film, "Alice Doesn't Live here anymore."
Beth Howland, "Vera" was suffering from lung cancer and she died on 31st Dec in Santa Monica, and no announcements were made, there was even no funeral or memorial service. Her husband, Charles Kimbrough who is also an actor told the Associated Press "That was her choice". May she rest in peace our prayers will always be with her.
